We finally found some boots that Rio can tolerate. They are called Pawz Dog Boots and are reusable and disposable. They remind me of deflated balloons that snap onto his feet. I can tell by the tracks in the snow that he can feel the road through the boots. While they are not warm, they do protect against salt and water.
We've discovered that it is easier to put the boots on him while he is lying down. He looks so cute in them.
